Understand the name change

If you have been looking for Home Care Packages, you may now see the name Support at Home. Support at Home replaced the Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care programmes.

Use current information from My Aged Care and the Australian Government when considering an application or reviewing existing arrangements.

Which programme or pathway applies to me?
What support has been approved?
What services can the provider arrange?
What will I pay, and how is that explained in writing?
What happens if my needs or circumstances change?
Who can help me understand the agreement?

If you already receive support, ask your provider to explain your current care plan and agreement. Keep copies of the information you receive.
