How to Access Aged Care is a free advocacy and information website about aged care in Australia and the United States. If you use a contact form, it collects the name, email address and message you provide so I can respond to your enquiry.

I, Louise Simon, am the sole person who reads and handles enquiries. I delete enquiry messages annually. Please do not send medical records, identity documents, account details or another person’s private information through the general contact form.

Website services and care-plan app

IONOS provides the website platform and contact-form technology. The care-plan app operates through Cloudflare, and information entered into the app is saved in cloud storage. I am the sole person who manages the website’s email, analytics and care-plan app. IONOS and Cloudflare may process technical information to provide their services.

The care-plan app is free to use and does not require an account or payment. Links to other organisations and websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. If the website asks for consent before loading translations or other embedded services, you can review that choice in the consent prompt.

Your requests

To ask about information you submitted, or to request access, correction or deletion, email admin@howtoaccessagedcare.com. Please describe your request without sending unnecessary sensitive information.

Care-plan data retention

Care-plan information is stored in the cloud. A fixed deletion period for that information has not yet been confirmed. You may email admin@howtoaccessagedcare.com to ask how your care-plan information is stored or whether information associated with your use can be deleted.
